From October 24–26, 2025, the TRITON World Championship lands in Portimão, Algarve, to crown the best triathletes across three days of elite-level competition. This global final uses the signature TRITON 3 format — swim on Day 1, bike on Day 2, and run on Day 3 — and is reserved for qualified athletes from TRITON events around the world.

With spectacular oceanfront views, a vibrant race village at Marina de Portimão, and festive side events including a Corporate Cup, Kids Race, and Legends Invitational, this is more than a race — it’s a triathlon celebration.

The VI Amora Aquathlon & Triathlon Weekend will take place on November 1–2, 2025, in Amora (Seixal), along the scenic riverside promenade.
Organized by the Associação Naval Amorense, in collaboration with the Amora Parish Council and the Seixal City Council, and with technical support from the Portuguese Triathlon Federation (FTP), this double event will host two national-level competitions:

• November 1 (Saturday): National Club Championship of Aquathlon – Sprint distance.

• November 2 (Sunday): National Club Championship of Triathlon (Team Time Trial) – Sprint distance.

Across two days, elite and age-group athletes will compete for national titles in one of Portugal’s most emblematic endurance weekends, combining river swims, flat urban cycling, and fast running segments along Amora’s waterfront.

The XI Albufeira Triathlon – Capital of Tourism will take place on October 19, 2025, starting at the Albufeira Fishing Dock and finishing at the Albufeira Marina. Organized by Futebol Clube de Ferreiras, the event is part of the Algarve and Lower Alentejo Championship and the Individual Regional Championship, raced over the Sprint distance.

The event includes both individual and relay races, welcoming athletes of all ages and categories — from cadets to veterans. The course features open-water swimming, road cycling, and a flat run along the Marina, combining challenge and beauty in equal measure.

More than a competition, the Albufeira Triathlon celebrates endurance, determination, and the charm of the Algarve coast.

Cascais, Portugal, becomes the epicenter of long-distance triathlon when IRONMAN Portugal hosts both the iconic full-distance IRONMAN and the IRONMAN 70.3 on the same weekend. Athletes will take on the Atlantic swim in the sheltered Ribeira Beach, race through a scenic but challenging bike course fully closed to traffic, and finish with a flat and vibrant run along the Cascais coastline. The event attracts professionals chasing podiums and World Championship slots, as well as age-groupers seeking the ultimate endurance challenge. With a festive atmosphere, an international field, and world-class organization, it’s one of Europe’s most celebrated IRONMAN weekends.
