No coração do Baixo Alentejo, entre paisagens imponentes e trilhos que desafiam os sentidos, Ourique volta a ser o epicentro do gravel em Portugal. A 2ª edição do Alentejo Gravel realiza-se no dia 25 de outubro de 2026 e integra oficialmente o circuito de apuramento para o Campeonato do Mundo de Gravel 2027.

Este evento reunirá alguns dos melhores atletas nacionais e internacionais numa prova exigente, apaixonante e desenhada para quem busca aventura, técnica e resistência. Com partida e chegada em Ourique, o percurso levará os participantes por estradas de terra, caminhos rurais e cenários autênticos da região, num traçado que promete emoção do primeiro ao último quilómetro.

Aberta a atletas federados e não federados, e preparada para receber ciclistas de vários escalões etários, esta edição garante uma competição equilibrada, desafiadora e de alto nível. Para além da componente desportiva, o público poderá desfrutar de uma zona dedicada de convívio, restauração, expositores e atividades para todas as idades — transformando o dia num verdadeiro festival dedicado ao gravel e ao ciclismo.

    Maia Urban Race

    Maia Urban Race 2026 is a night-time urban cycling event taking place on August 29, 2026, in Maia, Porto (Portugal). The event is held on a closed circuit in the city centre and runs from 19:30 to 22:30. Riders aim to complete as many laps as possible within 3 hours, with lap counting controlled via electronic chip timing.

    Although it is described as a non-competitive cycling-for-all event, participants are timed and ranked by total completed laps. The course showcases Maia’s historic areas, squares, and iconic gardens. The event is organized by Cabreira Solutions and Maia City Council, and follows Portuguese Cycling Federation (FPC) and UCI Open Event regulations.
