The event includes the National Cross Duathlon Club Championship, National Individual Cross Duathlon Championship, National Junior and Cadet Cross Duathlon Championships, National Cross Duathlon Paratriathlon Championship, as well as an Open Race.

Organised by Associação Amigos do Pedal, with the support of the Municipality of Famalicão and technical support from the Portuguese Triathlon Federation, the event is held in a cross duathlon sprint format, combining running and mountain biking.

The competition takes place in and around Parque da Devesa, offering urban and natural sections, technical MTB trails, and a strong competitive structure that attracts licensed athletes, clubs, and open-category participants.
