Resumo do Evento

A Terra de Gigantes Ultramarathon 2026 realiza-se de 15 a 18 de janeiro de 2026, com partida às 11h00 da Torre da Serra da Estrela — o ponto mais alto de Portugal — e chegada à Nazaré, conhecida pelas maiores ondas do mundo. Coorganizada pela Horizontes Turismo Desportivo e pela Associação Interior Convida, a prova propõe um desafio épico de 303,8 km a atravessar Portugal de este a oeste, enfrentando o rigor do inverno e milhares de metros de desnível.

O percurso atravessa serras, aldeias históricas, Aldeias do Xisto, caminhos de fé em Fátima e termina no Atlântico. Com 74 horas de tempo limite e regras de semi-autossuficiência, é uma prova para verdadeiros gigantes da ultrarresistência.

Material obrigatório: GPS, identificação, manta de sobrevivência, saco de emergência, apito, frontal + luz traseira, telemóvel com contactos da organização.
Altamente recomendado: casaco/calças impermeáveis, roupa térmica, muda de roupa, saco-cama, powerbank, protetor solar.

Bases de apoio & assistência:

  • Bases com líquidos, sólidos, refeições quentes e zonas de descanso (algumas com balneários)

  • Serviço de drop-bags em todas as bases

  • Máx. 2 assistentes por atleta nas bases (pacing só permitido no último troço)

Barreiras horárias: definidas em cada base (detalhes no guia do atleta) – sair após encerramento = desclassificação

Cronometragem & rastreamento: Sistema eletrónico + geolocalizador GPS (obrigatório; 150 € se perdido/danificado)
