The Matosinhos Urban Race 2025 takes place on August 30, 2025, in the heart of Matosinhos, Portugal, offering a unique 3-hour urban cycling challenge on a closed-loop course of approximately 3.5 km. Participants will aim to complete as many laps as possible within the designated time. This non-competitive cycling event is open to all riders — licensed or not — aged 16 and above. Whether solo, in pairs, or in teams of three, cyclists ride at their own pace, while lap times are recorded electronically. The 19th Volta a Portugal de Juniores will take place from August 28 to 31, 2025, bringing together the strongest U19 cycling teams from across the country.
