The Ínsua Nature Trail is a trail running and walking event taking place on April 19, 2026, in the parishes of Ínsua, Castelo de Penalva, and Esmolfe, Portugal. The event offers three distances: an 8 km walk, a 12 km mini trail, and a 16 km trail.

Open to participants of all ages and physical conditions, the event welcomes runners and walkers alike. The trails traverse rural paths and municipal roads, providing a scenic and varied terrain with a medium difficulty level for the longest distance.

Participants will enjoy a well-organized race atmosphere with solid and liquid aid stations, electronic timing, and awards for top finishers by gender and age categories. The event also includes a convivial lunch after the race.

The XII Trilho dos Gatos is a trail running event organized by GATÕES BTT, taking place on April 18-19, 2026, in Montemor-O-Velho, Portugal. It features three distances: Trail Curto (19 km), Mini-Trail (12 km), and a non-competitive 10 km walk, along with Trail Kids races for children.

The Mini-Trail is part of the ADAC District Mini-Trail Circuit and the ATRP Youth Circuit series 150, while the Trail Curto counts towards the ATRP National Trail Sprint Circuit series 100. The courses run on trails, forest paths, and single tracks, starting and finishing at the Polidesportivo de Gatões.

The event welcomes adults 18+ for the main races, with the Mini-Trail open to youth 16+ with parental authorization. The walk is open to all ages. The atmosphere includes competitive races and family-friendly kids’ events, with prize awards for individual and team categories.

The Grande Prémio LXTRIATHLON 2026 is a road running event taking place on April 19, 2026, in Alta de Lisboa, organized by Lxtriathlon – Clube de Triatlo de Lisboa, with the support of the Lisbon City Council, Santa Clara Parish Council, and the Lisbon Athletics Association.

The event features races for all ages and fitness levels, including a Half Marathon (21 km), a 10 km race, a 3 km walk, and a Kids Race. It is open to federated and non-federated athletes, men and women, in a friendly and inclusive environment.

With a strong charitable purpose, the Grande Prémio LXTRIATHLON supports Valentina, a nine-year-old girl diagnosed with congenital Zika virus syndrome. 10% of all registration fees will be donated to help fund essential orthopedic equipment and other medical needs.

The 8th Trail das Eiras is a trail running event taking place on April 19, 2026, in the forested area of Monte das Eiras, Vermoim, Vila Nova de Famalicão, Portugal. The race features multiple distances: 25 km Trail, 16 km Trail Sprint, 8 km Trail Jovem, and an 8 km Caminhada (walk).

The event is open to participants aged 18 and over for the Trail and Trail Sprint, 16 and over for the Trail Jovem, and all ages for the Caminhada. It is part of the Regional Trail Championship and the Famalicão Municipal Trail Championship, certified by the Braga Athletics Association.

The course offers scenic and archaeological points of interest, including forest trails, granite landscapes, and views over the Ave valley, with a festive atmosphere supported by the Associação Moinho de Vermoim and local partners. The event includes podium ceremonies and prizes for individual and team categories.
