PlanejeOn August 15th, 2025, at 17:00, the streets of Manique do Intendente will once again come alive with speed and strategy for the annual Circuito Ciclista, an officially sanctioned event of the Associação de Ciclismo de Santarém and registered with the Portuguese Cycling Federation (UVP-FPC). Held in partnership with the local festival committee, the race is open exclusively to licensed athletes in the Elite Amateurs and Masters categories (Classe 1.18). With its fast-paced, technical 2 km urban circuit, repeated over 30 laps, this event offers both spectacle and athletic challenge. Riders compete for cash prizes and trophies in overall and age-specific classifications, making it a popular highlight in the regional cycling calendar. Whether you're a Master or an Elite, Manique’s narrow turns and lively atmosphere will test your power and positioning.
The Volta a Tramagal returns for its third edition on 15 August 2025, integrated into the village’s annual celebrations. This community-focused cycling event promotes sport, social connection, and the potential of Tramagal for cycling practice. Organized by the local parish, the race features three categories: a 40 km Main Race (ages 15+), an 11.5 km Youth Race (ages 11–14), and a non-competitive Kids Ride (under 11). Held on closed public roads with circuits ranging from 700 m to 4000 m, it blends festive energy with technical routes, local crowd support, and symbolic prize jerseys, including mountain and sprint classifications.
The XXXI Circuito de São Bernardo takes place on August 20, 2025, in the historic city of Alcobaça, Portugal. With strong local support and a scenic urban backdrop near the iconic Monastery of Alcobaça, this race provides a professional racing experience in a festive setting.
