A non-competitive MTB adventure across the scenic rural trails of Castro Verde and neighboring regions, the I Maratona BTT Campo Branco is organized by the Núcleo Sporting Clube de Portugal de Castro Verde / Campaniços Sobre Rodas. The event welcomes cyclists of all levels and promotes sport, community, and sustainability.

Distances Offered:

🟢 Meia Maratona BTT – ~45 km (medium/easy difficulty)

🔵 Maratona BTT – ~75 km (medium difficulty)

⚡ E-Bike Maratona – ~75 km (E-Bike only)

Highlights:

Open to all riders aged 16+

Beautiful rolling terrain of the Alentejo

Shared and marked trails for all categories

Community-focused atmosphere with optional lunch add-on

Riders can choose between two main routes: a 45 km Half-Marathon and a 75 km Marathon — both accessible to conventional and electric mountain bikes (E-Bikes). The event is open to all cyclists aged 16 and above, regardless of licensing, and emphasizes safety, sustainability, and camaraderie. It’s a welcoming event for both experienced riders and newcomers looking for a scenic challenge.
