The Firestorm Challenge (FSC) returns to Viseu on October 25, 2025, for its 2nd edition — an obstacle course that blends the intensity of firefighting training with the thrill of competition.
Organized by the Volunteer Firefighters Association of Viseu, the event is open to both firefighters and civilians, each with tailored challenges and equipment requirements.

Participants will face a 1 km uphill course filled with 10 demanding obstacles — from tunnels and rope climbs to hose pulls and foam pits — all leading to the finish line at Sé de Viseu. Expect adrenaline, teamwork, and an atmosphere of pure determination.

West Fitness Race is an endurance and functional strength competition combining running and exercise stations with load. It takes place on October 25-26, 2025, in Mafra, Portugal.

The race offers two formats: the full Race (1000m running plus 8 exercise stations) and the Sprint (500m running plus 8 stations). Participants can compete individually or in duos, with categories for men, women, mixed teams, and teens.

The MAR Shopping Matosinhos Night Run is a unique night running and walking event taking place on October 25, 2025, at MAR Shopping Matosinhos. The race offers two distances: an 8 km competitive run and a 5 km non-competitive walk, inviting participants to explore usually inaccessible corridors and areas inside the shopping center.

This event is open to all runners 18 years and older for the run, including both licensed and non-licensed athletes, and to all participants aged 6 and above for the walk, who must be accompanied by a legal guardian if minors. The run features multiple age categories for men and women, while the walk is a leisure activity.

Besides being a sportive challenge, the event supports social causes such as the Outubro Rosa movement and the Portuguese League Against Cancer, creating a festive and socially engaged atmosphere. Participants are required to wear the official event shirt, enhancing the sense of community. The event also provides a unique experience with its night-time setting and indoor/outdoor route through the shopping center.

The Santarém On Fire – Assalto ao Centro Histórico is a unique resistance race taking place on October 25, 2025, in Santarém, Portugal. Participants, equipped with full firefighting protective gear, will race over approximately 800 meters with a maximum elevation gain of 115 meters, aiming to complete the course in the shortest possible time.

This event is specifically designed for firefighters and is open to various age categories, including seniors and veterans. It offers a challenging and specialized competition that tests physical endurance and resilience under the demanding conditions of complete protective equipment.

The race takes place in the historic center of Santarém, presenting a distinctive urban setting with elevation, combining the intensity of a physical challenge with the backdrop of historic architecture.
