Montepio Half Marathon of Cascais 2025
Resumo do Evento
The Montepio Half Marathon of Cascais 2025 celebrates its 9th edition on February 8–9, set against the stunning backdrop of Cascais Bay, Portugal. Organized by HMS Sports with the support of the Cascais City Council and multiple institutional partners, the event offers four distances: the Half Marathon (21.0975 km), the 10 km Race, the 5 km Race, and the Kids’ Run, held the day before the main races.
The event welcomes athletes of all levels — from elite runners to recreational participants — in an atmosphere that is both competitive and family-friendly. The courses take runners through iconic coastal and urban landscapes, including the scenic Estrada do Guincho and Cascais Marina, combining athletic challenge with breathtaking views.
With wave starts based on expected finish times and full on-course support, the Montepio Half Marathon of Cascais stands out as one of the most well-organized and scenic road races in Portugal’s running calendar.
