On August 23, 2025, at 15:00, the town of Nafarros (Sintra) will host the 62nd edition of its historic road cycling race, the Circuito de Nafarros. Organized by UDC Nafarros in partnership with Benepaint and with the technical oversight of the Associação de Ciclismo de Lisboa, this official federated race (FPC) is open to Elite 1.12 and 1.13 riders and U23 athletes, with limited wildcards available for invited teams outside these categories.
The race consists of 8 laps of a 9.3 km circuit, totaling 74.5 km of tight, technical, and scenic competition in the heart of Nafarros. Known for its tradition and strong local support, the Circuito de Nafarros also features special jerseys for general classification, mountain, sprint, and fastest lap – all contributing to a vibrant and competitive race atmosphere at the height of summer.

Held as part of the traditional festivities in Alfafar, the Circuito de Alfafar is an exciting road cycling race hosted by the Comissão de Festas de N. Sr.ª das Neves in partnership with the Centro Ciclista do Centro and Associação de Ciclismo da Beira Litoral.
This is a fast-paced criterium-style event on a short urban circuit in Alfafar, offering an electrifying atmosphere and a compact, spectator-friendly format. With 60 laps on a 745-meter circuit, athletes compete for speed, strategy, and prize money across elite, U23, and master categories.
Perfect for fans of competitive cycling, the race is part of the local celebration and promises adrenaline, close finishes, and strong team tactics.

Ver evento42º PROVA DE CICLISMO DE AVELAL
On September 6, 2025, at 15:00, the town of Avelal (Sátão) hosts the 42nd edition of its historic road cycling race, integrated into the IV Beira Alta Road Cycling Cup. Organized by the Liga dos Amigos das Festas do Avelal e Conservação da Natureza, in collaboration with the Beira Alta Cycling Association, this event is open to a wide range of cyclists: amateurs, professionals, and federated athletes, both national and international, aged 17 and older.
With a 105 km route, open to riders with FPC competition or CPT licenses as well as independent riders, the race brings together a competitive yet accessible peloton. Scenic roads, a community-driven organization, and a wide set of classifications and prizes make this one of the most engaging open cycling events in the region.

Ver evento7º Grande Prémio de Ciclismo Arruda dos Vinhos - Cardosas
The 7th edition of the Arruda dos Vinhos - Cardosas Cycling Grand Prix takes place on Sunday, September 7, 2025, organized by the Parish Council of Cardosas with the support of surrounding parishes and the Lisbon Cycling Association. It is a highly demanding, open-road road cycling event held under the rules of the Portuguese Cycling Federation (FPC).
Open to men aged 18 and up, both licensed and non-licensed, the race brings together amateurs and club riders across seven age groups. The 80 km route includes three intermediate sprint points and climbing segments, and awards leaders with symbolic jerseys and monetary prizes. It promises a competitive, festive atmosphere rooted in community spirit and scenic rural roads of the Lisbon district.
