IV Salamandra Trail Walk

The 8th São Macário Ultra Trail (SMUT) will take place on November 8–9, 2025, in Sul, São Pedro do Sul, Portugal. Organized by GTT.SPS – Grupo Todo Terreno São Pedro do Sul, with the support of the local municipality and regional associations, the event explores the rugged and scenic Serra da Arada (São Macário), part of the Montanhas Mágicas.

The program includes four distances: the Ultra Trail (49 km, +3200 m D+), the Trail (29 km, +1600 m D+), the Trail Sprint (19 km, +870 m D+), and the Mini-Trail/Walk (9 km, +250 m D+). With varied levels of difficulty, from beginner-friendly hikes to demanding endurance challenges, the SMUT is designed for trail enthusiasts of all levels.

All races start and finish in Sul village, combining a festive community spirit with a demanding mountain running experience in central Portugal.

The 10th Corrida de São Martinho – Adriano Valente is a running race scheduled for November 9, 2025, in Arco de Baúlhe, Portugal. The event features a 12 km race and a 5 km walking option, making it suitable for a range of participants.

This race is open to runners born in 2007 or earlier, with no license required, welcoming both competitive and recreational athletes. Organized by the Arco4Run group and Associação Festeiros do Arco, with local municipal support, it offers a community-focused atmosphere.

Participants will enjoy the race starting and finishing on Rua de Arco de Baúlhe, with awards and trophies for several age categories and team classifications, highlighting an inclusive and motivating competition environment.

The 30th X Milhas do Guadiana is a road running race scheduled for November 9, 2025, starting at 10:00 AM Portuguese time. The race takes place between Ayamonte, Spain, and Vila Real de Santo António, Portugal, covering a total distance of 18.04 kilometers.

The course includes 17.53 kilometers on asphalt and 510 meters on cobblestone, beginning at the Blas Infante Stadium in Ayamonte and finishing at Praça Marquês de Pombal in Portugal. The event is open to runners aged 20 and above, including both federated athletes and amateurs, with multiple age categories and classifications, including wheelchair participants (excluding handbikes).

This race offers a competitive yet inclusive atmosphere, with individual and team classifications. It stands out for its unique cross-border route crossing the International Guadiana Bridge, combining Spanish and Portuguese landscapes. The organization also provides support for athletes with medical assistance and refreshment stations along the course.

The 9th Transact Lat Trail Costa Vicentina is a trail running event taking place on November 9, 2025, between Santiago do Cacém and Porto Covo in Portugal. It offers three race distances: an ultra trail of 57K+, a medium trail of 30K+, and a sprint trail of 15K+, all held along the scenic Rota Vicentina trail.

The event is open to athletes aged 18 and above, with the races forming part of the National Circuits for Trail Ultra, Trail, and Trail Sprint respectively. Participants will experience unique coastal and rural landscapes characteristic of the Costa Vicentina Natural Park, with challenging terrains and beautiful views.

The race atmosphere blends competitive spirit with community engagement, including a non-competitive guided walk in Cercal do Alentejo supporting local volunteer firefighters. The event also features team competitions and podium awards for various categories, fostering camaraderie and excellence.
