Event summary
The MAR Shopping Matosinhos Night Run is a unique night running and walking event taking place on October 25, 2025, at MAR Shopping Matosinhos. The race offers two distances: an 8 km competitive run and a 5 km non-competitive walk, inviting participants to explore usually inaccessible corridors and areas inside the shopping center.
This event is open to all runners 18 years and older for the run, including both licensed and non-licensed athletes, and to all participants aged 6 and above for the walk, who must be accompanied by a legal guardian if minors. The run features multiple age categories for men and women, while the walk is a leisure activity.
Besides being a sportive challenge, the event supports social causes such as the Outubro Rosa movement and the Portuguese League Against Cancer, creating a festive and socially engaged atmosphere.
