IV Trail of the Hera Lands

The Trail da Tomina 6th Edition is a trail running event taking place on March 15, 2026, in Santo Aleixo da Restauração, Beja, Portugal. It offers multiple distances including a 30 km Trail, 15 km Trail Sprint, 10 km Mini Trail, and a non-competitive 10 km walk.

The 3rd Campeonato Concelhio de Trail – Famalicão is a trail running championship held across multiple events in Vila Nova de Famalicão, Portugal, during 2025 and 2026. The championship includes short trail races (10-18 km), long trail races (19-42 km), and an ultra trail race (over 42 km).

Open to all athletes aged 18 and above with adequate physical preparation, the championship features various age categories for both men and women, as well as team classifications. Participants compete across ten events for short and long trail categories, and one ultra trail event, with points awarded based on performance and participation.

The championship offers a competitive and structured trail running experience with a final awards gala recognizing top individual and team performances, fostering a community atmosphere among trail runners in the region.

The 6th Trail Sport Arronches e Benfica is a trail running event taking place on March 15, 2026, in the village of Mosteiros, Alto Alentejo, Portugal. It features a Long Trail of approximately 31 km, a Short Trail of about 20 km, a Mini-Trail of 12 km, and a 10 km walk, all set in natural mountain trails, dirt roads, and single tracks.

The event is open to athletes of both sexes with minimum age requirements depending on the distance, and it is part of the AADP District Trail Circuit and the ATRP National Trail Circuit series. The race offers a semi-autonomous experience with significant elevation gains and time limits for each distance.

There is also a Trail Kids event for children aged 5 to 15, promoting sport and social interaction among young participants, making the event family-friendly and inclusive.

The 2nd edition of Guarda Trail Running is a mountain trail running event scheduled for March 15, 2026, in Guarda, Portugal. It features three race distances: a Long Trail of approximately 30 km, a Short Trail of approximately 15 km, and a Mini-Trail of approximately 10 km, complemented by a recreational 10 km walk.

The event is open to all genders with age minimums of 10 years for the walk, 11 years for the Mini-Trail, 15 years for the Short Trail, and 18 years for the Long Trail, based on the athlete’s age as of December 31, 2026. It is part of the Circuito de Trail da Beira Alta 2026, serving as the second stage of this series.
