Sunset Senhora dos Chãos Trail
Event summary
The Sunset Srª dos Chãos Trail returns on September 6, 2025, to the hills of Valongo, offering a magical blend of trail running and golden-hour scenery. Organized by TOG – Associação Running Team, this event welcomes participants to experience the natural beauty surrounding the Nossa Senhora dos Chãos Chapel at sunset.
With three options — a 23 km Trail, 13 km Mini Trail, and 10 km non-competitive walk — the race suits both competitive athletes and those seeking a peaceful outdoor experience.
Open to runners aged 16 and up (walkers under 16 must be accompanied), the event takes place on technical trails with open-road sections.
The highlight: watching the sun set over Valongo after crossing the finish line, followed by the award ceremony and a laid-back evening atmosphere.
