The CUMES do Marão 2025 is a mountain trail running challenge organized by Associação Desportiva Marão Trail and SavageNatur Events®. Taking place on September 20, 2025, in the rugged Serra do Marão, this event starts and finishes in the small village of CUMES – Ansiães, Amarante. The courses offer technical, wild terrain in one of the most remote and scenic regions of mainland Portugal. Athletes can choose from four distances: 50 km, 30 km, 20 km, and a 13 km hike. Designed for endurance, environmental respect, and authentic mountain running, CUMES is ideal for experienced trail runners and adventurous spirits looking for a raw and rewarding experience.

• 13 km hike: 5 hours
