Trail ACTIB
Event summary
The ACTIB-TRAIL 2025 returns on October 12 in Borralha, Águeda, offering an exciting trail running experience for all levels. Organized by ACTIB – Associação Cultural e Turística da Borralha, this community-focused event combines technical trails, forested paths, and a festive atmosphere that welcomes both competitive and recreational participants.
The race starts and finishes at the Crossódromo Internacional de Águeda, a scenic and spacious venue well known for outdoor sports. There are five different races available:
Trail Long (25 km) – ideal for experienced trail runners
Trail Short (15 km) – for intermediate athletes
Mini Trail (10 km) – accessible to beginners
Hike (8 km) – a relaxed nature walk open to all
Trail Kids (1 km) – a fun run for children with prizes and family involvement
All races are open to the general public, including federated and non-federated athletes. The event is not part of a national cup, which makes it more accessible to locals and first-time participants looking for a friendly trail experience. The route passes through forests and countryside, with moderate elevation and natural beauty as the main appeal.
This is an eco-friendly event that encourages respect for nature and promotes a strong community spirit. It’s perfect for those looking for a challenge with a smile, suitable for solo runners, families, and local trail enthusiasts alike.
