Event summary
The 17th BTT Marathon LAAC-LAACAR takes place on September 14, 2025, in Aguada de Cima, Águeda, Portugal. This mountain biking event is much more than a race — it’s part of the XCM Regional Championship of the Center, the final round of the XCM Center Cup, and a legendary celebration for MTB lovers.
Open to federated athletes and non-federated participants (CPT/Open class), it offers 4 different distances to suit all levels:
🏁 Maratona Elite (~75 km)
🏁 Maratona Curta (~50 km)
🚵 Meia Maratona (~40 km)
🚴 Mini Maratona (~25 km)
Set against the backdrop of the Serra do Caramulo and Moinho do Pisco, the courses include singletracks, rivers, steep climbs, and thrilling descents. Expect a festive, competitive, and gastronomic atmosphere, featuring the iconic Leitão à Bairrada and Espumante. It’s a must-do for fans of pure MTB spirit.
