Ansião Gravel Race Challenge
Event summary
The Ansião Gravel Race Challenge will host the 2025 Portuguese National Gravel Championship on September 14, 2025, at the Estádio Municipal de Ansião, in central Portugal.
This prestigious race brings together the nation’s best licensed cyclists, combining gravel, road, and off-road biking in a demanding, scenic format. The race is part of the UVP/FPC (Portuguese Cycling Federation) calendar and is open to Portuguese nationals holding a competition or CPT license. Non-licensed riders can also join in a separate “Open” category with specific regulations.
Set in the heart of the Sicó region, the course explores the rustic charm of Ansião, blending historical, natural, and gastronomic richness with a growing passion for off-road cycling.
With elite, master, para-cyclist, and open categories, the race is suited for experienced riders across all adult age groups. The event atmosphere is both competitive and celebratory, supported by the Ansibikers community.
