Event summary

On September 6, 2025, the historic city of Alcobaça will host the third edition of A ENCOSTA, a unique urban-trail challenge organized by A.D.R.C. Crossmates. This event blends trail running with team-based obstacle racing, starting and finishing at the iconic Alcobaça Castle and passing landmarks like the Monastery of Alcobaça, Montebelo Hotel, and Parque Verde.

Participants can choose from three formats:

A ENCOSTA Run – full competitive race with challenges and penalties

A ENCOSTA Fun – same route, without obstacle penalties

A ENCOSTA Walk – non-competitive 8 km walk through the challenge points

Teams of two complete the 11 km course tethered together, facing multiple physical obstacles. Only the Run format counts toward final rankings and awards. With a friendly yet competitive atmosphere and optional post-race dinner, A ENCOSTA offers a one-of-a-kind experience for runners, adventurers, and fitness enthusiasts alike.
