    3 Horas de Resistência BTT TOCAndar by FORTUNNA

    The 3H Resistência TOCANDAR 2025 by FORTUNNA returns on September 7, 2025, in Nine, Vila Nova de Famalicão, bringing together the spirit of endurance mountain biking in a festive, community-centered atmosphere. Organized by the Associação de Ciclismo de Nine (TOCANDAR), the race offers a 3-hour BTT challenge on a loop of approximately 6.5 km, filled with technical trails, sharp climbs, and flowing descents across the surrounding terrain of the Nine parish. Centered at the Café TOCA car park, which serves as the paddock and heart of the event, the race encourages both competitiveness and camaraderie. Alongside the main endurance race, the event hosts a Desafio Kids by Colégio Alfacoop, offering young cyclists a chance to ride and have fun. Early registrants are rewarded—the first 100 confirmed participants will receive Eltin Forest cycling glasses. Registrations open July 7 and close September 1, with a price increase on August 24. It’s a day for all ages, blending sport, fun, and a shared passion for cycling.

    RAMPA - Quelha das Mulas

    The Subida Quelha das Mulas 2025 is an uphill individual time trial taking place on 6 September 2025 in Vilar de Murteda, a parish in the municipality of Viana do Castelo. Organized by the Associação Desportiva e Cultural de Vilar de Murteda, the event is officially sanctioned by the Associação de Ciclismo do Minho and the Portuguese Cycling Federation (FPC). The race features a short but challenging climb of approximately 3.4 kilometers with a steady 300-meter elevation gain, making it a popular route among regional cyclists. Open to both federated and non-federated riders, the event includes two main divisions: conventional bikes and e-bikes, with the latter being limited to non-federated participants. Participants will start individually at timed intervals, beginning at 15:30, with bib pick-up available from 14:00 at Largo de Vilar de Murteda. Start times will be published at least 24 hours in advance. The race is designed to test each athlete’s climbing ability on a steep and scenic ascent well known in local cycling circuits.

    42º PROVA DE CICLISMO DE AVELAL

    On September 6, 2025, at 15:00, the town of Avelal (Sátão) hosts the 42nd edition of its historic road cycling race, integrated into the IV Beira Alta Road Cycling Cup. Organized by the Liga dos Amigos das Festas do Avelal e Conservação da Natureza, in collaboration with the Beira Alta Cycling Association, this event is open to a wide range of cyclists: amateurs, professionals, and federated athletes, both national and international, aged 17 and older. With a 105 km route, open to riders with FPC competition or CPT licenses as well as independent riders, the race brings together a competitive yet accessible peloton. Scenic roads, a community-driven organization, and a wide set of classifications and prizes make this one of the most engaging open cycling events in the region.
