Event summary

The 9th Trail Carreiros do Pastor Arrimalano will take place on November 23, 2025, in Arrimal, Porto de Mós, in the heart of the Serra dos Candeeiros. Organized by the CCRD Arrimal/Morcegos team, the event features two timed courses — Trail Sprint (20 km, 780D+) and Mini-Trail (12 km, 460D+) — a 10 km leisure walk, and the Kids Run, designed for young participants aged 3 to 15.

Open to both federated and non-federated athletes, the event offers a diverse sporting experience, with trails, paths, and forest roads that explore iconic areas of the Serra de Aire e Candeeiros Natural Park. The atmosphere blends competition and camaraderie, enhanced by the hospitality and facilities at the Arrimal Cultural, Recreational, and Sports Center.

The program spans two days, with the Kids Run taking place on Saturday and the main races on Sunday, ensuring a complete schedule suitable for all ages and experience levels.

Registration deadline – November 20, 2025 (until 24:00) or until full.

Bib pick-up – At the secretariat: Nov 22 (14:00–19:00) and Nov 23 (07:00–09:10).

Mandatory gear – Trail running shoes, working mobile phone, hydration system (no cups at aid stations), thermal blanket, and whistle (only for timed courses).

Surface type – Trails, paths, forest roads, and road sections.

Timing method – Electronic chip timing. Live online results.

Aid stations – Solid and liquid supplies at key points and at the finish.

Prizes – Medals for all Trail Sprint & Mini-Trail finishers, trophies for top 3 overall and per age group, team awards, and monetary prizes (see regulation). The walk is non-competitive and has no prizes.
