Event summary

The 3rd edition of Côdeas Trail takes place on September 6, 2025, in Casal dos Claros and Coucinheira, Leiria. Organized by Unidos Runners with the support of G.D.R.C. Unidos, this trail event is part of the ADAL – Derovo – Fullprotein Circuit and serves as the District Sprint Trail Championship.
It includes a challenging 19 km Trail Sprint and a beginner-friendly 10 km Mini Trail, as well as a 10 km non-competitive walk and a kids’ race with fun distances for younger athletes. The route combines technical trails, rural paths, and local charm, with strong emphasis on safety, environmental respect, and community participation.
Ideal for trail enthusiasts of all levels, the event promotes fair play and local sports culture — and even offers roast pig as a prize for the largest team!

    On September 6, 2025, the charming village of Alvelos in Barcelos hosts the 7th edition of the Grande Prémio de Atletismo Águias de Alvelos — a local classic embedded in the Nossa Senhora das Dores festivities. Open to all runners aged 16 and up, the 8 km road race offers a festive, welcoming environment ideal for both competitive athletes and casual runners. Younger athletes aren’t left out either — the Kids Race includes two age-specific distances: 1.5 km for ages 6–10 and 3 km for ages 11–15.     Tua Festival de Percursos Pedestres Vila Flor

    The Tua Festival de Percursos Pedestres (TFPP) is a multi-weekend walking event organized by the Parque Natural Regional do Vale do Tua (PNRVT) and designed by PortugalNTN. Focused on showcasing the nature, culture, gastronomy, and identity of the Tua Valley, it promotes sustainable tourism across five municipalities: Alijó, Carrazeda de Ansiães, Mirandela, Murça, and Vila Flor. The Vila Flor edition will take place on September 6 and 7, 2025, welcoming people of all ages. All walking routes are certified and rated using the MIDE method (Spanish trail difficulty index), allowing participants to choose routes that match their fitness and experience levels.
