Event summary
The 7th edition of the Arruda dos Vinhos - Cardosas Cycling Grand Prix takes place on Sunday, September 7, 2025, organized by the Parish Council of Cardosas with the support of surrounding parishes and the Lisbon Cycling Association. It is a highly demanding, open-road road cycling event held under the rules of the Portuguese Cycling Federation (FPC).
Open to men aged 18 and up, both licensed and non-licensed, the race brings together amateurs and club riders across seven age groups. The 80 km route includes three intermediate sprint points and climbing segments, and awards leaders with symbolic jerseys and monetary prizes. It promises a competitive, festive atmosphere rooted in community spirit and scenic rural roads of the Lisbon district.
