7th Alcafaz Gastronomic Walk

The Yupik Outdoor Trail Walk is a challenging 12 km trail walking event taking place on October 5, 2025, in Torres Vedras. With a difficulty rating of 4/5 and an elevation gain of 600 meters, this event tests participants’ endurance, resilience, and capacity for self-overcoming.

Open to all, this walk invites you to connect deeply with nature, the group, and yourself while traversing historic paths and pristine natural landscapes unique to Torres Vedras. Certified guides from Geoparque Oeste and Turismo de Portugal accompany the entire route, ensuring a safe and enriching experience.

The event culminates in a festive atmosphere where participants celebrate their achievements together with the famous Torres Vedras cozido sandwich, making it much more than a walk – a true experience of challenge and camaraderie.

The 7th Leonel Anselmo Grand Prix Athletics is a running race taking place on October 5, 2025, at Rua Capitão Tenente Oliveira e Carmo near the GDI headquarters in Barreiro. This event is part of the Barreiro Athletics Circuit and welcomes runners of all levels.

Participants can compete in various distances available within the Circuit, using the same bib number throughout all the races once collected. The race is open to everyone without license requirements, promoting community engagement and athletic development.

The IPO Porto Run takes place on October 5, 2025 (10:00), starting and finishing inside the IPO Porto grounds. Co-organized by Runporto with support from the City of Porto and local institutions, the event features a 5 km Run & Walk on a flat, urban loop around the Asprela area.
It’s an inclusive, charity-minded event (entries support IPO Porto), open to all ages, with individual awards for the top three men and women in the 5 km run and a relaxed, non-competitive walk option.
