8º Trail Summer Challenge S.A. - Vila Galé

The HELL160-Shadows and Dust is an ultra-endurance trail running event taking place on July 3-5, 2026, in A do Pinto, Serpa, Beja, Portugal. The IV Trilhos Castro de Santiago – Sunset Edition is a trail running event taking place on July 11, 2026, in Figueiró da Granja – Fornos de Algodres. It features a long trail of approximately 21 km with 850 meters of elevation gain, a short trail of about 14 km with 450 meters of elevation gain, a mini trail, and a recreational walk of around 10 km with 300 meters of elevation gain.

The event is open to all participants aged 18 and over for the long and short trails, with younger participants aged 11 to 14 allowed in the mini trail with legal guardian authorization. It is part of the Circuito de Trail da Beira Alta – VI(r)VER BEIRA ALTA and serves as its 5th stage, attracting athletes from various locations to share the trail running experience in the region.

The race courses run predominantly on trails, rural paths, dirt roads, and streams surrounding adjacent villages, offering a natural and challenging environment. The event includes a sunset start time and a festive atmosphere with a dinner following the races and prize ceremonies.

The LYNX Fuzileiros 2026 is an obstacle race (OCR) taking place on July 11, 2026, in Barreiro, Portugal, specifically at the Escola Prática dos Fuzileiros in Vale de Zebro. This race challenges teams of 6 athletes to overcome more than 40 obstacles over a distance of more than 7 kilometers.

Participation is only possible in teams of six, with categories for male, female, and mixed teams. The race is open to all who can form a team, with no individual entries allowed. The event promises a demanding course featuring obstacles that test strength, agility, balance, and precision, including some sections involving water crossings and swimming.

LYNX Fuzileiros offers a unique mix of military-style teamwork and physical challenge, held in a special military training environment, creating an intense and motivating atmosphere. The event is supported by the Barreiro City Council and includes a festive yet competitive spirit, with podiums and trophies for the top teams in each category.

The Passeio Pedestre GF Serra da Estrela 2026 is a walking event taking place on June 28, 2026, in Seia, Portugal. This interpretive walk covers a distance of approximately 8.9 km with a moderate difficulty level and a 380m elevation gain. The route is circular, starting and finishing at the Câmara Municipal de Seia.

The event is open to all residents and companions of athletes participating in the Granfondo Serra da Estrela cycling races, welcoming participants aged 10 and older (minors must be accompanied by an adult). It offers a unique opportunity to explore rural and forest trails on the slopes of Seia, enriched by guided interpretation from the Associação Geopark Estrela, showcasing the natural and cultural heritage of the Serra da Estrela region.
