Event summary

The FK Trail 2025 will take place on 9 November 2025, offering participants the opportunity to explore the breathtaking landscapes between Quiaios and Buarcos, along the emblematic Serra da Boa Viagem. Organized by the Figueira Kayak Clube, this event has become a highlight in the regional trail calendar, attracting runners of different skill levels who enjoy the challenge of varied natural terrain.

This edition features three routes: the Trail (23 km, 1000D+), designed for experienced athletes seeking a demanding challenge; the Mini Trail (13 km, 500D+), which is also part of the Coimbra District Trail Running Circuit in the Mini Trail category; and a 10 km Walk, ideal for those who prefer to enjoy the scenery at a more relaxed pace.

The FK Trail promotes not only competition but also the enjoyment of nature and the camaraderie that characterises trail running events. Fully marked and staffed, the courses traverse forest paths, technical trails, and open road sections, providing a dynamic experience that combines physical effort with stunning views over the Atlantic coast and the surrounding mountains.

    The VII Trail Castro Recarei, held on November 9, 2025, in São Martinho da Gândara, Oliveira de Azeméis, offers a scenic trail running experience through lush woodlands, irrigation canals, ancient mills, and fresh-water springs. Organized by the Centro Desportivo e Cultural de São Martinho da Gândara, this event attracts both competitive and recreational runners, with distances suited for different fitness levels. Participants can choose from: Trail Sprint 20 km (D+ 1000 m) Trail Sprint 13 km (D+ 720 m) 10 km Hike (D+ 400 m) The circular route starts and finishes at Campo das Alminhas, the CDC’s home base. The event is capped at 400 total participants (100 for the 20 km, 150 for the 13 km, and 150 for the hike), ensuring a community-focused and environmentally conscious experience. This trail is ideal for nature lovers and trail enthusiasts looking to explore unique terrain — from forest paths to water-lined tracks — in a festive, local atmosphere. Hikers and runners will cross paths at shared points, creating a welcoming dynamic for all levels.

    Trilhos do Endovélico

    The Trilhos do Endovélico 2025 takes place on November 9, 2025, in Terena, Alandroal, Portugal, offering participants the chance to explore the scenic and historical landscapes of the Alentejo region. Organized by the Pedestrian Section of Amigos da Terras d’Endovélico, this trail event includes four different challenges: Long Trail (30 km), Sprint Trail (20 km), Mini Trail (12 km), and a Walking Hike (10 km). Starting and finishing at the Terena Castle, all routes traverse beautiful trails featuring hills, valleys, creeks, and historical landmarks. The event is open to athletes of all genders and ages, with competitive age categories starting at 18 for the longer distances and 16 for the Mini Trail.
