The IX Trail dos Morcegos by Mitsubishi Motors takes place on 20 September 2025 in Ponta Delgada, São Miguel – Azores, offering a unique night-and-day trail running experience through the island’s volcanic landscapes, rural paths, and lush coastal trails.
This iconic event features six races:
TdM Trail (36.3 km / 1740 m D+) – ITRA 2, UTMB 50K, part of ATRP and São Miguel Trail Circuit.
TdM Sprint (20.6 km / 780 m D+) – ITRA 1, UTMB 20K, part of ATRP Sprint Circuit.
Mini Trail (8 km), Walk (8 km) – accessible to most fitness levels.
Kids Race (2.3 km) and Adapted Sports (2.3 km) – inclusive categories.
The event welcomes elite athletes, club runners, and beginners, with distances for all levels. The festive, community-driven atmosphere makes it more than just a race — it’s a celebration of sport and nature in the Azores.

• September 18–19, 17:00–20:00 at Stand Dionísio Carreiro de Almeida (São Roque)
• Late check-in also available on race day
