LYNX Fuzileiros 2026

The IV Trilhos Castro de Santiago – Sunset Edition is a trail running event taking place on July 11, 2026, in Figueiró da Granja – Fornos de Algodres. It features a long trail of approximately 21 km with 850 meters of elevation gain, a short trail of about 14 km with 450 meters of elevation gain, a mini trail, and a recreational walk of around 10 km with 300 meters of elevation gain.

The event is open to all participants aged 18 and over for the long and short trails, with younger participants aged 11 to 14 allowed in the mini trail with legal guardian authorization. It is part of the Circuito de Trail da Beira Alta – VI(r)VER BEIRA ALTA and serves as its 5th stage, attracting athletes from various locations to share the trail running experience in the region.

The race courses run predominantly on trails, rural paths, dirt roads, and streams surrounding adjacent villages, offering a natural and challenging environment. The event includes a sunset start time and a festive atmosphere with a dinner following the races and prize ceremonies.

The Hybrid Day is a unique hybrid race combining running and functional exercises, set to take place on July 17 and 18, 2026, at the iconic Estádio Municipal de Leiria. This two-day event promises intense competition and community spirit under the summer sun, attracting athletes of various levels.

Participants can compete in multiple categories including Singles, Doubles, and Relay teams, with divisions for men, women, and mixed teams, as well as Pro and general categories. The event is open to both military personnel with special discounts and the general public, creating a diverse and vibrant competitive atmosphere.

The race environment at Estádio Municipal de Leiria offers a festive and energetic atmosphere with enthusiastic crowds supporting the athletes. This edition continues the legacy from the memorable 2025 event, promising an unforgettable experience of challenge and camaraderie.

The 8º Trail Summer Challenge is a trail running event taking place on July 5, 2026, at Praia Foz do Lizandro. It offers three distances: a long trail of approximately 24 km, a short trail of approximately 15 km, and a leisure walk of about 12 km.

This event is open to all participants aged 18 and over, requiring no license, and includes competitive trail races as well as a non-competitive walk. It is part of the Circuito Challenge S.A. 2026 series and promotes environmental awareness, being associated with eco-friendly initiatives such as the Plogging movement.

The courses traverse mostly natural circuits with stunning coastal views, combining trails through inland paths and seaside scenery. The atmosphere is inclusive and supportive, catering to competitive athletes and leisure walkers alike, with special awards for teams and the oldest participants, plus fun activities like plogging integrated into the walk.
