Event summary
The Meia Maratona do Ameal 2025 returns on September 21 with a certified 21.1 km road course in the scenic region of Taveiro, Ameal, and Arzila, Coimbra. For the first time, it will also host the ADAC District Half Marathon Championship.
In addition to the flagship Half Marathon, the event features a 10 km run, ideal for beginners or speed-focused runners, and a 10 km walk, welcoming participants of all levels.
Organized by ARDA – Associação Recreativa e Desportiva do Ameal, with local council and FPA support, this road race is crafted for both personal bests and community celebration.
The course is flat, fast, and fully certified, with electronic chip timing and well-placed aid stations.
