Event summary

The Sunset Trail – Covões, organized by PRODESCO with the support of the União das Freguesias de Covões e Camarneira and the Municipality of Cantanhede, will take place on September 6, 2025. This scenic and friendly trail running event features a 15 km Mini Trail and a 10 km Walk, both starting and finishing at the Pavilhão Dr. Paulo Oliveira. With minimal elevation gain/loss (±100 m), it offers an accessible course across varied terrain — including sandy paths, clay soil, dirt roads, asphalt, and forest trails. Open to athletes aged 16+ (with parental consent) and walkers of all ages, the race combines sport, community spirit, and a festive post-race atmosphere with a dinner and Sunset Party.

    3º Côdeas Trail

    The 3rd edition of Côdeas Trail takes place on September 6, 2025, in Casal dos Claros and Coucinheira, Leiria. Organized by Unidos Runners with the support of G.D.R.C. Unidos, this trail event is part of the ADAL – Derovo – Fullprotein Circuit and serves as the District Sprint Trail Championship. It includes a challenging 19 km Trail Sprint and a beginner-friendly 10 km Mini Trail, as well as a 10 km non-competitive walk and a kids’ race with fun distances for younger athletes.     The Tua Festival de Percursos Pedestres (TFPP) is a multi-weekend walking event organized by the Parque Natural Regional do Vale do Tua (PNRVT) and designed by PortugalNTN.
