Trail do Sor
Event summary
The XII Trail do Sor returns on 7 September 2025 in Ponte de Sor, Portalegre, offering a rich mix of natural trails along the Sor River and surrounding valleys. Organized by CATRP with local support, the event features a wide range of distances: Long Trail (31 km), Short Trail (15 km), Junior Trail (4 km & 2 km), and a challenging Mini-Trail/Walk (10 km).
Part of the ATRP’s National Trail Circuit (series 150 & 100) and AADP’s district trail circuits, it welcomes both amateur and club athletes aged 7 and up. Courses vary in difficulty, with marked technical paths, solid elevation gain, and beautiful Alentejo scenery.
With team rankings, age categories, solid aid support, and optional meals or merchandise, this is a community-driven event with strong sporting value and a festive rural atmosphere.
