Trilhos Nossa Senhora do AR is a multi-discipline outdoor event taking place on February 1, 2026, in Vila Chã, Alijó, Vila Real. This event is open to the public without the need for a license, encouraging nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy a day of adventure, sport, and cultural heritage. The routes start and finish at the Aeródromo da Chã and traverse a variety of forest trails, unpaved roads, and public roads, offering a unique blend of natural landscapes and local villages. The environment requires attention due to shared use with vehicles and animals, enhancing the challenge and authenticity of the experience.
The atmosphere is relaxed and inclusive, emphasizing enjoyment and respect for nature, with a focus on safety and community spirit. Awards are given in general classifications for both trail and BTT, as well as special prizes in walking categories, including for the most veteran and youngest participants, and even for participants bringing dogs or showing style.
