The Tróia Swimrun is a swimrun race held in the beautiful natural setting of the Tróia Peninsula, featuring golden sandy beaches about 17 km long and 1.5 km wide, surrounded by blue sea and the Sado River. This event perfectly embodies the spirit of swimrun, combining swimming and running through stunning landscapes.
The race offers three distances: Standard (23.6 km total with 4.4 km swimming and 19.2 km running), Sprint (15.1 km total with 3.2 km swimming and 11.9 km running), and Experience (10.8 km total with 1.2 km swimming and 9.6 km running). The courses include multiple transitions and significant elevation gains, suitable for a broad range of participants.
The event is open to all and includes a “Swimrun Kids” format to introduce younger athletes to the sport, creating a family-friendly and inclusive atmosphere. The race is supported by local partners such as the Municipality of Grândola and Clube Amiciclo Grândola, ensuring a well-organized and welcoming experience amidst unique coastal and riverine scenery.
