Event summary

The Ultra X Madeira 2025 will be held on November 1–2, 2025, across the stunning trails of Madeira Island, Portugal. Organized by Ultra X, the event offers four race options ranging from 25 km to 110 km, all providing athletes with the chance to experience Madeira’s rugged mountains, coastline, and volcanic landscapes.

The flagship event is the 110 km two-day ultra, divided into a 60 km stage (Saturday) starting in Machico and a 50 km stage (Sunday) starting in São Vicente, with overnight camp provided for participants. Single-stage races include the 60 km, 50 km, and 25 km options.

With generous cut-off times, UTMB® index qualification (100K, 50K, 25K), and international participation, Ultra X Madeira is a true test of endurance that combines sport with the natural and cultural beauty of the island.

Check-in / bib collection:

  • Oct 31 – 18:00–20:00, Forum Machico (110 km & 60 km runners)

  • Nov 1 – 18:00–20:00, Forum Machico (50 km & 25 km runners)

Aid stations: approx. every 10 km, with water, shade/shelter, and medical support.

Cut-off times: generous, ranging from 2h30 to 4h per 10 km (strictly enforced).

Lodging & transport:

  • Overnight campsite for 110 km runners (Sat).

  • Optional campsite/shuttle add-ons for 60 km.

  • Shuttle service from finish back to Machico available.

Timing: live GPS trackers + chip timing.

Awards:

  • All finishers receive medals.

  • 110 km race: medal ribbons by finishing time (Black <16h, White <20h, Blue >20h, Green – sustainability award).

UTMB® Index: races qualify in 100K, 50K, and 25K categories.

    The race starts at Praia da Falésia and finishes at the AP Victoria Sports & Beach Hotel, featuring five women-led aid stations, local food, a celebration area, professional photography, and free childcare at the event hotel, making it a supportive and uplifting experience.

    The 10th Halloween Run Party is a running event taking place on November 1, 2025, at Parque da Paz in Almada, Portugal. It features three distances: an 8 km race, a 4 km walk, and a 500 m Kids Race, catering to a diverse range of participants from children up to older adults.
