The VIII Vila Chã Aldeia Trail is a trail running event taking place on August 9, 2026, in Vila Chã – Fornos de Algodres, Portugal. It is part of the Circuito de Trail da Beira Alta 2026 and serves as the 6th stage of this series.
The event offers multiple distances: a long trail of approximately 22 km with 800 meters of elevation gain, a short trail of approximately 14 km with 500 meters of elevation gain, a mini trail and a walk of approximately 9 km with 200 meters of elevation gain. The long and short trails are open to all participants aged 18 and over, while the mini trail is open to participants aged 11 to 14 with parental consent.
The race courses predominantly follow trails, rural paths, dirt roads, and streams around the adjacent villages, providing a natural and challenging mountain terrain. The event promotes sports practice in the region and encourages respect for the environment and fair play among participants.

• Trophies for top 3 overall male/female in Long, Short, and Mini Trail
• Diplomas for 4th and 5th overall in Long and Short Trail
• Medals for top 3 in each age category in Long, Short, and Mini Trail (only for Circuito Jovem participants)
