Volta aos 7 – Vidrala

The Solidarity Run – Aveiro é Nosso, organized by the Aveiro é Nosso sector of the Academic Association of the University of Aveiro (AAUAv), returns on September 27, 2025, for its 4th edition. Starting and finishing at the Pedagogical Complex Park of the University of Aveiro, the event offers two options: a 10 km run and a 5 km walk, open to the entire community. More than just a sporting event, this initiative promotes physical activity, healthy social interaction, and solidarity, with all proceeds going to support a local social cause.

The 1st Serenity Trail takes place on 27 September 2025 in Folgosinho, Serra da Estrela, Portugal, organised by Estrela Serenity Resort. This single‑distance mountain trail of 8.83 km invites participants to explore the rural beauty and biodiversity of the Serra da Estrela while passing through agricultural fields, mountain paths, and the historic village of Folgosinho. The route includes varied terrain, elevation gain of approximately 338 m, and a water crossing, offering a mix of challenge and scenic immersion. Open to participants aged 16 and above (minors require guardian consent), the event is suited to both seasoned trail runners and those seeking their first mountain running experience. The festive setting at the resort and the inclusion of premium prizes for the top finishers make it a distinctive race in the Portuguese trail calendar.

Braga

Trail Pé Firme 2024 takes place on September 28–29 in Torres Vedras, celebrating local history, sport, and nature during the European Week of Sport. The event offers a diverse mix of running challenges across scenic trails and coastline paths, appealing to both competitive runners and recreational walkers. Participants can choose from long and short trail runs, a mini trail, team relay formats (2 or 4-person), youth races, and multiple guided walks along coastal routes. The event honors the legendary "Pé Firme" and includes unique routes through iconic locations like the Hipódromo do Vimeiro and the Externato de Penafirme.
