    A non-competitive MTB adventure across the scenic rural trails of Castro Verde and neighboring regions, the I Maratona BTT Campo Branco is organized by the Núcleo Sporting Clube de Portugal de Castro Verde / Campaniços Sobre Rodas. The event welcomes cyclists of all levels and promotes sport, community, and sustainability.

    Distances Offered:

    🟢 Meia Maratona BTT – ~45 km (medium/easy difficulty)

    🔵 Maratona BTT – ~75 km (medium difficulty)

    ⚡ E-Bike Maratona – ~75 km (E-Bike only)

    The Passeio BTT Terrugem celebrates its 17th edition on September 14, 2025, in the parish of Terrugem, Sintra. Organized by ABIT – Associação Recreativa de Bicicletas da Terrugem, with the support of the local parish and Sintra Municipality, this event has become a traditional gathering for cycling and outdoor enthusiasts.

    Unlike competitive races, this event is focused on conviviality, leisure, and appreciation of the region’s landscapes, bringing together riders from across Portugal in a friendly, community-based atmosphere. The main challenge is a 45 km BTT ride of medium difficulty, while families and casual participants can join the 8 km pedestrian walk, guided and accessible to all ages.

    With full participant support, refreshments, showers, and post-event food, the Passeio BTT Terrugem ensures that every rider and walker enjoys a memorable day of sport, camaraderie, and celebration of nature.

    RACENATURE CASTELO DE VIDE

    RACENATURE Castelo de Vide is a three-day mountain biking event held from September 19 to 21, 2025, in the scenic region of Castelo de Vide, Portugal. The event includes a prologue on Friday and two main stages over the weekend, all with GPS-guided routes. Although E-Bikes are welcome, they are not eligible for rankings.

    This open-format event is suitable for licensed and non-licensed riders over 18 years old, regardless of gender.     Taça BTT Intermunicipal - 3H Resistência

    The Inter-Municipal 3H MTB Endurance Cup 2025 is a regional open competition organized under the Lisbon Cycling Association and the Portuguese Cycling Federation (UVP-FPC), bringing together five thrilling races across Oeiras, Mafra, Amadora, Lisbon, and Sintra. The event includes both endurance races and youth MTB events on the same day. Open to both licensed and non-licensed riders aged 5 and up, the endurance race challenges athletes in a 3-hour team or solo format, with special waves for Juniors (2h) and Cadets (1h). Meanwhile, the youth races welcome categories from Under-7 (Pupils) to Under-15 (Juveniles), focusing on participation and skill development. All participants are timed, classified, and eligible for podium recognition in a fun, safe, and inclusive atmosphere.

    The 1st Alenquer MTB Endurance Trophy – Inter-Parishes is a municipal series of six 2-hour mountain bike races, held across various civil parishes of Alenquer, Portugal, from April to September 2025. Promoted by the Municipality of Alenquer in partnership with local parishes and cycling clubs, the event aims to encourage community participation, promote cycling, and recognize regional MTB talent.

    Open to licensed and non-licensed riders aged 16 and above, the event embraces a wide demographic of cyclists from all regions of Portugal and beyond. Each event is run independently by its host association, with shared general rules and standardized race logistics. Participants accumulate points toward a final trophy ranking, fostering a competitive but friendly local endurance series.
