    The 3rd edition of the Granfondo Serra D’Ossa will take place on October 5, 2025, in the historic town of Borba, Alentejo. Organized through a partnership of five municipalities — Alandroal, Borba, Estremoz, Redondo, and Vila Viçosa — the event invites cyclists of all levels to explore the stunning landscapes of Alentejo across three scenic routes: Granfondo, Mediofondo, and Minifondo.

    Although non-competitive in nature, the event features electronic chip timing for the full course and/or pre-designated segments. Riders are grouped by category and enjoy the experience at their own pace, with full support along the route.

    With scenic roads, regional charm, and a relaxed but festive cycling atmosphere, Granfondo Serra D’Ossa is a must-do for road cycling enthusiasts looking to ride through one of Portugal’s most picturesque regions.

    The VII Tour Gaeiras is a non-competitive cycling event designed for all cycling enthusiasts. Taking place on October 5, 2025, in Gaeiras (Óbidos, Portugal), this tour invites participants to ride at their own pace over a scenic 85 km course. Rather than a race, it’s a leisure, cultural, and touristic experience intended for road, mountain, or tandem bicycles (motorized vehicles are not allowed). The route begins and ends at the village of Gaeiras with rider concentration starting at 7:30 AM.

    Open to male and female cyclists of all levels, the event also includes a timed segment (approx. 4 km) known as the José António Vieira Stage, offering podium awards by category. While not a race, this segment adds an element of competitive excitement for those who want it. The event is limited to 250 participants.

    The Eurobec Granfondo is a competitive amateur cycling event taking place on Sunday, April 12, 2026, starting and finishing in Badajoz, Spain. The race offers three distances: Granfondo (150 km), Mediofondo (100 km), and Minifondo (60 km), catering to cyclists aged 15 and above, with certain age restrictions based on distance.

    Begins on the world-famous N222 road through the scenic Douro Valley, ending in Guarda, the highest city in Portugal.

    🗻 Stage 2 – Conquering the Highest Point in Mainland Portugal
    📍 Guarda – Covilhã | 107KM | 2550m D+
    Climbs to Alto da Torre (1,993m), the highest point on mainland Portugal, followed by a stunning descent into Covilhã.

    🌄 Stage 3 – From the Mountains to the Lowlands
    📍 Covilhã – Alter do Chão | 165KM | 1730m D+
    Crosses into the Alentejo through scenic hills and the majestic Tagus River at Portas do Rodão. Ends at the historic Royal Stud Farm.

    🍷 Stage 4 – Alentejo, the Portuguese Tuscany
    📍 Alter do Chão – Évora | 96KM | 800m D+
    A cultural ride through cork oak-lined roads and wheat fields, ending in the UNESCO city of Évora.

    🔥 Stage 5 – The Super Stage
    📍 Évora – Monchique | 193KM | 1840m D+
    The longest and one of the most epic stages. Finishes with the climb to Monchique, entering the Algarve mountains.

    🌊 Stage 6 – The Mountain, the River, and the Ocean
    📍 Monchique – Porches | 57KM | 560m D+
    A celebratory stage with coastal views and a finish at the cliffside Chapel of Senhora da Rocha — the perfect end to this unforgettable journey.
