    ROTA DO ROSMANINHO

    The Passeio BTT e Caminhada – Rota do Rosmaninho will be held on September 21, 2025, in Vila Nova de São Bento, organized by the Associação Desportiva de Vila Nova de São Bento. This is a non-competitive event designed to promote sports, community spirit, and family fun, welcoming participants of all ages and experience levels.

    The program includes a 40 km mountain bike ride and a 10 km hike, both guided routes that highlight the scenic landscapes and natural beauty of the region. With aid stations, safety support, and a strong community atmosphere, the event ensures participants enjoy a relaxed but active day outdoors.

    After the ride or walk, participants are invited to join a convivial lunch at the Salão Polivalente, reinforcing the spirit of camaraderie that defines this event.

  • Porto Saudável 2025

    Porto Saudável 2025

    “Porto Saudável” is a citywide walking program organized by Runporto in collaboration with Porto City Council (via municipal company Ágora). Taking place across 22 weekends between May and September 2025, each event explores iconic locations in Porto, combining physical activity with cultural discovery.

    Walks are free of charge, around 5 km long, and designed to encourage the entire community to practice healthy habits in an accessible way. Ideal for all fitness levels and especially families, the motto is “A walk to discover the city.” Starting at 10:00 each weekend, each edition departs from a different historic or scenic area of the city, such as the Ribeira, Palácio de Cristal, or Avenida dos Aliados.

    This is a social and non-competitive experience that promotes wellness, community spirit, and connection with Porto’s heritage.

  • Grande Trail Serra D'Arga

    Grande Trail Serra D'Arga

    The Grande Trail Serra d’Arga (GTSA) 2025 is a three-day trail running festival held in northern Portugal, from September 26 to 28, blending ultra-endurance competition with community spirit and breathtaking landscapes.

    The event kicks off on the night of September 26 in Viana do Castelo with the GTSA 100KM, a challenging ultra that takes runners across rugged, technical terrain through the Serra d’Arga and remote villages like Dem, Arga de Baixo, Cerquido, and Montaria.

    On September 27, the action moves to Dem, where the GTSA 50KM and GTSA 15KM take place. Both circular courses combine steep elevation, mountain trails, and local charm. The day is enhanced by cultural festivities such as the Dem Folklore Festival, adding a unique community vibe to the challenge.

    The final day, September 28, is hosted in São Lourenço da Montaria, offering four diverse races: the GTSA 31KM, GTSA 17KM, a 12KM Hike, and a Kids Race. These circular routes showcase the natural beauty of the region, passing forests, waterfalls, and traditional villages, with distances suited to competitive runners, nature lovers, and families alike.

    From night-time ultras to festive hikes, GTSA 2025 promises a dynamic celebration of sport, culture, and the wild Serra d’Arga landscapes.

    Juntos pelo Rafa - Trail Solidário

    Juntos Pelo Rafa – Trail Solidário takes place on September 27, 2025, in Santa Catarina da Fonte do Bispo, Tavira. This charity trail event is dedicated to supporting Rafa, a young athlete with cerebral palsy and other medical conditions. All proceeds from registration go directly to fund his therapies.

    Trail Os Lobos

    Held on 27 September 2025 in Graça do Divor, near Évora, the 1º Trail e Caminhada – Os Lobos is a community-oriented event designed for both beginner and experienced trail runners.

    Two race options are available:

    Trail (15 km): Timed and competitive, with elevation and varied terrain

    Caminhada (10 km): A non-competitive walk ideal for families and casual participants

    Organized by the Grupo Desportivo Cultural e Recreativo da Graça do Divor, the event promotes healthy living and local engagement, with the support of INATEL, the Municipality of Évora, and the Parish of Nossa Senhora da Graça do Divor.

    Open to all (Trail 16+ years; no minimum for Walk, but children must be accompanied), this event welcomes a wide participant base and features individual and team prizes, scenic rural routes, and a festive local atmosphere.
