    Flavius Challenge OCR

    The Flavius Challenge OCR is Portugal’s leading urban obstacle course race, celebrating its 7th edition in the historic city of Chaves on September 6–7, 2025. Organized by Wildfun in partnership with the municipality and the Portuguese OCR Federation, it offers two distances — 12km and 3km — across two days.
    The long course (12km) is part of the 2025 OCR Portugal League and Cup, and serves as a qualifier for the 2026 European OCR Championships in Spain. Athletes face 30+ natural and artificial obstacles on Saturday and 15 on Sunday, ranging from climbs and carries to water crossings.
    With categories for Elite, Competitive, and Fun (non-competitive with burpee penalties), the event is inclusive yet challenging, welcoming participants aged 12+ with a supportive, high-energy atmosphere.

    With three options — a 23 km Trail, 13 km Mini Trail, and 10 km non-competitive walk — the race suits both competitive athletes and those seeking a peaceful outdoor experience.
    Open to runners aged 16 and up (walkers under 16 must be accompanied), the event takes place on technical trails with open-road sections.

    The Tua Festival de Percursos Pedestres (TFPP) is a multi-weekend walking event organized by the Parque Natural Regional do Vale do Tua (PNRVT) and designed by PortugalNTN. Focused on showcasing the nature, culture, gastronomy, and identity of the Tua Valley, it promotes sustainable tourism across five municipalities: Alijó, Carrazeda de Ansiães, Mirandela, Murça, and Vila Flor.
    The Vila Flor edition will take place on September 6 and 7, 2025, welcoming people of all ages. All walking routes are certified and rated using the MIDE method (Spanish trail difficulty index), allowing participants to choose routes that match their fitness and experience levels. The event fosters intergenerational participation and provides structured support, including guides, aid stations, and insurance. Unidos, this trail event is part of the ADAL – Derovo – Fullprotein Circuit and serves as the District Sprint Trail Championship.
