Held in the village of Alcanede, the Corrida Lusical combines a scenic 12 km run and an 8 km walk over a varied terrain of gravel paths, asphalt, and local trails. The route passes by picturesque villages, the Kartódromo de Alcanede, and even climbs to the historic Alcanede Castle.
Organized by Lusical and the Alcanede Fire Department with support from the Santarém municipality, this race includes strong community spirit, optional lunch, and a kids' event the day before.

The inaugural Trail Entre Douro e Tua takes place on September 7, 2025, in Carrazeda de Ansiães, in the heart of the Douro region. Organized by Clube Desportivo Entre Douro & Tua, the event offers a scenic experience through vineyards, valleys, and historic landscapes.

The 10th Caminhada/Trail Feira da Tôr takes place on 7 September 2025 in Tôr, Loulé, Portugal, integrated into the local annual fair. The III Corrida de Macieira is a 10 km road running race taking place on September 7, 2025, in Macieira, Lousada. Organized by AMA – Macieira Atletismo with support from the Lousada Municipality, Macieira Parish Council, and the Porto Athletics Association, the event is open to both junior/senior athletes and masters categories for men and women.
The route starts and finishes at Largo de São Gonçalo, following a mix of rural and urban roads within a fully closed course. The race offers a competitive yet friendly atmosphere, encouraging participation from a wide range of runners.

The 16th Castro Marim Half Marathon and 2nd Night Minimaratona happen on September 13, 2025, in Altura. Organized by Clube Recreativo Alturense, the event features a half marathon (21.1 km) and a night minimaratona (~10.5 km), both starting and finishing near Altura Athletic Track. With a festive evening atmosphere, medical and security support, and charitable benefits organized under Algarve Athletics Association, it's both a community celebration and a competitive challenge .
The HYDRA GAMES return to Almada on 13–14 September 2025, promising an intense blend of endurance running and functional fitness. Hosted at the Pista Municipal de Atletismo Alberto Chaíça, this innovative competition fuses 800 m running intervals with challenging workout stations such as SkiErg, Air Bike, Dumbbell Lunges, and Wall Balls.

The Abutres SkyRace returns on September 13–14, 2025, in Miranda do Corvo, central Portugal, organized by Associação Abutrica. This mountain running event features five distinct challenges: the Kids Vertical, the 4.5 km VerticalRace, the 12 km and 25 km SkyRaces, and a non-competitive 10 km walk.
