Meia Maratona Odivelas-Loures-Odivelas

The Meia Maratona de Odivelas-Loures is set to take place on Sunday, September 21, 2025, in Odivelas, Portugal, with a Kids Run held the day before on Saturday. The event includes four categories: the Half Marathon (21 km), a 10 km race, a 5 km walk, and a Kids Run with distances tailored by age group. All races start and finish at Parque do Silvado, except for the Kids Run, which takes place at Praça da República.

A chip timing system is used for the Half Marathon and 10 km race, while the walk and kids’ event are untimed. Meia Maratona do Ameal

The Meia Maratona do Ameal 2025 returns on September 21 with a certified 21.1 km road course in the scenic region of Taveiro, Ameal, and Arzila, Coimbra. For the first time, it will also host the ADAC District Half Marathon Championship.

In addition to the flagship Half Marathon, the event features a 10 km run, ideal for beginners or speed-focused runners, and a 10 km walk, welcoming participants of all levels.

Organized by ARDA – Associação Recreativa e Desportiva do Ameal, with local council and FPA support, this road race is crafted for both personal bests and community celebration.

The course is flat, fast, and fully certified, with electronic chip timing and well-placed aid stations. Environmentally responsible (no disposable cups), and athlete-focused (medical assistance, gear transport, prizes for top finishers and teams), the event ensures a professional yet welcoming experience.

“Porto Saudável” is a citywide walking program organized by Runporto in collaboration with Porto City Council (via municipal company Ágora). Taking place across 22 weekends between May and September 2025, each event explores iconic locations in Porto, combining physical activity with cultural discovery.

Walks are free of charge, around 5 km long, and designed to encourage the entire community to practice healthy habits in an accessible way. Ideal for all fitness levels and especially families, the motto is “A walk to discover the city.” Starting at 10:00 each weekend, each edition departs from a different historic or scenic area of the city, such as the Ribeira, Palácio de Cristal, or Avenida dos Aliados.
