The 2025 Trail do Queijo da Fajãzinha will take place on October 11 in the parish of Fajãzinha, in the municipality of Lajes das Flores, Azores. The event features several trail running and walking distances, with circular courses that pass through natural trails and rural areas of the island.
It is organized by Queijaria do Pico Redondo, Atlético Clube Fajã Grande, and the Lajes das Flores City Council. The start and finish are located at Largo do Rossio (except for the 21 km trail, which starts in Lajedo).

Organized in support of the Portuguese Association for Victim Support (APAV), the race celebrates 35 years of APAV’s commitment to human rights and justice. The event includes a 10 km run, a 5 km walk, and a 500 m kids race, promoting community engagement, fitness, and awareness for victims of violence. With scenic routes through Monsanto’s green heart, this late afternoon race offers a festive and supportive atmosphere for all ages.
The Vila Urbana Trail returns on October 11, 2025, for its 8th edition in Ponte de Lima, Portugal. More than just a race, this event blends sport, culture, and community by guiding athletes through the historic streets, monuments, and cultural landmarks of Portugal’s oldest town.
The program includes the flagship 10 km competitive race, an 8 km Solidarity Walk, and several youth races (500 m to 3.5 km) designed for younger athletes.
