The Merrell Trail Running Series 2025/26 is a five-stage trail running circuit taking place between November 2025 and April 2026 across scenic locations in the Lisbon district. The race takes place with a festive atmosphere on a course closed to traffic. The walk starts behind the main race, and the event includes a race for athletes with adapted sports. The course format suggests a loop, with the main race consisting of two laps and the mini-race of one smaller lap.
The 61st São Silvestre de Ponta Delgada will take place on 13 December 2025 in Ponta Delgada, on São Miguel Island in the Azores. Organized by the Associação de Atletismo de São Miguel, the event offers three different challenges: the main race (6.2 km), the Mini-Corrida (1.3 km), and a Caminhada (4 km).
Open to athletes of all levels, the São Silvestre is a festive, year-end celebration that attracts elite runners, local athletes, and recreational participants alike. The 2nd edition of the Trail Winter Challenge S.A. returns to Ericeira on December 14, 2025, offering a festive and challenging trail experience.
