    The Himalaias Trail António de Andrade 2025 returns to Oleiros on September 21, 2025, as part of the commemorations of the 400th anniversary of the discovery of Tibet by António de Andrade.     Four events are available: three competitive trail races (35 km, 20 km, and 14 km) and one non-competitive hike (12 km), all through mountainous terrain, riverside paths, and rural roads in central Portugal.

    Open to athletes of all levels, the event is part of the Circuito de Trail da Beira Baixa (CTRBB) and encourages community participation with festive atmosphere and challenging climbs — including the summit of Cabeço Rainha.

This nature-based running event includes three options: a 23 km long trail, a 13 km short trail, and a 10 km walk, all designed to showcase the region’s natural beauty.

    Open to runners aged 18 and above (for the competitive events), the race promotes physical activity in natural settings and fosters community spirit. While the walk is non-competitive, the trails include various competitive age categories and individual/team awards. All distances start and finish at the local football club headquarters, in a scenic and welcoming village setting. The route includes off-road trails with elevation changes.
