Terms of Use
1. Definitions
“RaceFinder,” “us,” “we,” or “our” refers to RaceFinder, a company providing a platform for listing and selling registrations for sports competitions.
“Platform” means the (mobile) website on which the service is made available, owned, controlled, managed, maintained, and/or hosted by RaceFinder.
“Organizer” refers to the entity responsible for organizing the event listed on the platform.
“User” refers to any person who accesses or uses the website.
“Event” means any sports competition advertised on the website.
2. Scope of Service
Through the Platform, RaceFinder provides an online service where event organizers can list their competitions, and users can search for and be redirected to register for those events. RaceFinder does not organize events and is not responsible for managing registrations or event execution.
By registering for an event via RaceFinder, the user enters into a direct (legally binding) contractual relationship with the event organizer. From the moment the user completes a booking, RaceFinder acts solely as an intermediary between the user and the organizer, transmitting registration details to the relevant organizer and providing a confirmation email on behalf of the organizer.
Any changes, cancellations, refunds, or transfers of a race entry are at the sole discretion of the event organizer. RaceFinder has no control over these policies and advises users to review the organizer’s terms before registering.
3. Correspondence & Communication
RaceFinder disclaims any liability for communication with the event organizer through or outside of our platform. We do not guarantee that any request or message will be received, read, responded to, or acted upon by the organizer.
To successfully secure an event registration, the user must provide accurate personal details, including a valid email address. RaceFinder is not responsible for any issues arising from incorrect or misspelled user details.
4. User Responsibilities
Users agree to:
Provide accurate information when registering or using the platform.
Use the platform legally and ethically, without fraudulent activities or attempts to manipulate results.
Adhere to the specific terms and conditions of each event listed on the platform.
5. Platform Responsibilities & Limitations
RaceFinder commits to:
Publishing event information as provided by organizers clearly and accurately.
Complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to safeguard users’ personal data.
RaceFinder is not responsible for:
Event changes, cancellations, or postponements made by organizers.
Payment processing or refunds, as these are managed directly by event organizers.
Incorrect or outdated information provided by event organizers.
6. Payment and Refund Policy
RaceFinder does not process payments directly. All payments are handled via the official websites of event organizers. For any refund, cancellation, or entry modification requests, users must contact the respective event organizer.
7. Event Safety & Disclaimer
Participation in events listed on RaceFinder is at the user’s own risk. Neither RaceFinder nor the event organizers are responsible for injuries, accidents, or fatalities occurring before, during, or after participation in an event, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Users are advised to consult a physician before participating in physical competitions.
8. Intellectual Property
All content available on RaceFinder, including text, images, logos, and trademarks, is protected by intellectual property laws. No content may be copied, reproduced, or distributed without prior authorization.
